Bloomin Marvelous

Hello everyone! Another post today. I saw this simple design on Pinterest and loved how much impact it has even though it is just white cardstock and one layer. Of course I had to add some bling with the ribbon and rhinestones, can't be too simple right??? Couldn't get the camera to take a pic of the inside for some reason. I just added some Island Indigo and Pool party with a decorative punched corner. Hope you enjoyed the project today.

Love and Sympathy

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. The card I am posting today used the direct ink to clear block technique. You just get a clear acrylic block and drop some ink refill in whatever colors you are working with. Then you smudge it around with a paintbrush, spritz with some water, and stamp it onto your cardstock. You end up with this beautiful background. Gorgeous no??? Very elegant.
Don't forget to doll up the inside of  your card too. Hope you enjoyed the project today.

Secret Garden

Happy Monday to all! Just wanted to post another project today. I know it has "Happy Easter" in the sentiment but I think this would make a beautiful Mothers Day card don't you?? I love, love, love the Secret Garden set and die. Remember the days when you had to cut out those flowers by hand???? So easy to stamp and then run thru your Big Shot and viola! Easy peasy.
Don't forget to decorate the inside of your cards ladies! Love the way this looks even with just using the stamp and no cutting out. Hope you all have a great week!

Oh Whale!

Good Sunday morning to everyone! One more project to post today. Isn't he cute??? The fun detail on this card is the tulle that I put behind the punched holes. I first stamped the coral piece with Crumb Cake, then I picked a few embellishments from the Oh Whale embosslit for interest. The tulle is taped to the back of the DSP. All you have to do then is line up the circles. Would be super cute in any color really.
Here is a close up pic of the tulle detail.
For the inside, I used the punched out circles for some interest. After I had glued them down I thought I should have used the wave wheel first and then taped them. When the ladies did that it was soooo super cute!! Hope you enjoyed the project today. Have a great Sunday!

Pansies

Good morning everyone. Doesn't this card make you feel like spring, even though summer is right around the corner???  I just love this card! Was so much fun to make. I had tried to make these pansies multiple times and always struggled until I figured out that you need some kind of watercolor paper. My favorite paper that Stampin Up sells is the Naturals Ivory and Naturals White. They both act like watercolor paper. I also love all the speckles they have, it is like adding texture without embossing. I also sparkled the flowers a little with some shimmer spritz.

Don't forget to decorate the insides of your cards ladies! Even if it just some simple texture. Hope you enjoyed the project today. Have a great weekend.

March Paper Pumpkin

Well hello there strangers!! I am so sorry I suck this bad at this whole blogging thing. I can't even promise anymore that I will try to do better because it just doesn't happen. Anyhoo, glad to be posting today. I finished my version of the Paper Pumpkin cards a while ago but just haven't gotten around to posting the pics. My intention was to inspire everyone with what you can do differently with your monthly Paper Pumpkin and post pics (much sooner than I did this time). I happen to get my April shipment today and got so excited again!!! The possibilities are endless! I had a blast creating these cards and would encourage all of you to join in the fun!
